With our Quick Setup guide and the intuitive on-screen Setup Assistant you'll have your system quickly and easily configured with a minimum of fuss and bother. The high quality speaker terminals feature multi-way connectors and they're color coded for correct hookup and color coded speaker labels are included. Four Quick Select function buttons on the front panel and the remote control let you choose your favorite sources quickly and the AVR-X3300W remembers your preferred sound settings for each source.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Immersive Surround Sound

Enjoy the latest Hollywood blockbuster movies in incredible Dolby Atmos 3D immersive surround sound, which provides the option of overhead speakers or Dolby Atmos elevation speakers to deliver the same incredible listening experience enjoyed in premier movie theaters. The AVR-X3300W is also equipped with other Dolby decoders including Dolby TrueHD.

The AVR-X3300W also features DTS:X decoding, the latest Hollywood immersive surround sound experience that offers the option of overhead speakers. DTS:X features object-based audio coding that lets the sound designer place sonic elements anywhere in the 3D acoustic soundspace. The AVR-X3300W is also equipped with other DTS decoders including DTS-HD Master Audio. DTS:X will be enabled via future firmware update.

Audyssey DSP Processing

Advanced Audyssey DSP technologies include MultEQ XT32 automatic room acoustic measurement and correction system which provides ultra high precision digital filters for the speakers and single and dual subwoofers compared to the MultEQ and MultEQ XT systems and it also provides for measurement at up to 8 locations in the room.

Audyssey Dynamic Volume smoothes out annoying jumps in volume, letting you listen at lower levels and still enjoy clear dialog and sound effects. Audyssey Dynamic EQ provides precision tonal tailoring for full range clarity at any listening level.

Audyssey Sub EQ HT provides individual responese tailoring for each subwoofer in a dual subwoofer setup, delivering deep taut bass without peaks or dips in response.
