The EX820 measures AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, diode, continuity, frequency, and capacitance. It also includes a built-in, non-contact infrared thermometer for detecting invisible hotspots, Type K bead wire temperature probe, and True RMS to ensure accurate measurements without distortion from electronic devices. Type K Bead Wire Probe Measures Temperature
The included Type K bead wire probe allows you to take temperature readings inside air conditioners, refrigerators, motors, bearings, pumps, and many other devices that emit heat. Temperatures can be measured from -4 to 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 760 degrees Celsius).
